Dr. Danny Williamson, D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Becoming a chiropractor was a natural career path for me. I had great experiences in my early life receiving chiropractic care. I began care at the age of three. I had childhood bronchitis and allegies and was in and out of doctor’s offices and on medications. My parents were told I would be limited all of my life and would never play sports. Thanks to chiropractic and Dr. Jay Perreten I have not had any problems and was able to have a normal healthy childhood. In high school, following a severe car accident, Dr. Perreten and chiropractic put me back on my feet fast. Due to these life experiences with chiropractic, when it came time to make a career decision, the choice was easy. I wanted to help others the way I had been helped.
I am a home-town boy. I attended South Houston High School, San Jacinto College and Texas Chiropractic College. It was a natural decision for me to pick TCC. It is a great school and being a native Texan and growing up in this area made it an even easier decision.
My Practice Philosophy is simple. Your body is smarter than a roomful of doctors. Your brain and nervous system run and coordinate the functions of your body. Interference to the nervous system by misalignments (subluxations) can be caused directly or indirectly by various problems such as car accidents, athletic injuries, falls, lifting injuries and so on. These misalignment (subluxations) are characterized by back pain, neck pain, headaches, leg pain and arm pain. Chiropractors locate and remove the subluxations and your body does the rest.
When a new practice member comes to my office, I work very hard to ease the pain that brings most people in. Then, together we take simple steps over time to reach their health and activity goals. When you follow a plan, you stand a far better chance of success
I have been married for 26 years to Holly Williamson and we have a daughter Kate, that is a Texas A&M graduate in engineering. Holly is local attorney and judge. We are both very active in our community.
I have been a lifelong chiropractic patient. I continue with regular care so my nervous system can perform at peak levels, I want to maintain the best possible health I can and avoid as many problems as I can that are common with aging.
